a2themfk wrote: I know here in the UK our postge rates are usually twice what it is in the states to send the same parcel Just checking if anyone UK based has found a cheaper method, i usually use parcel force/royal mail but anything over the 2kg limit and it gets really bad. Ive tried DHL and UPS and there even worse. Any pointer's on a cheaper method to ship multiple decks state side ????? |

I've been using Transglobal Express - https://www.transglobal.org.uk/Default.asp
They give a range of prices from various different couriers including the ones mentioned. Prices still suck though but cheaper than the Post Office.
Usually around £36 for a deck boxed properly. Nothing we can do about it, its a bloody rip off..... |

Thats nearly $60
Ive found it depends what post office you take it too, some still use the international small packet rate £20 ish instead of pricing via volmetric weight, but it just depends who's on @ the counter. In saying that ive had 1 returned after a week as it got stopped @ the export depot due to it being priced wrong. |

Cheers for that bud that price doesn't seen to rise much for a couple of boards, compared to Royal mail where it goes thru the roof. Shipping 4 popicles to kansas nxt week for $63 airmail 3 days transit and insured |

i have a load of stuff on ebay at the moment and i just got a mail from a guy in the US , asking , as i have only listed Europe , would i consider selling to him and shipping out to the US !
The item is a NOS 80's complete !
If one deck is gonna cost £36 to send to US
What would be a realistic price to ask for postage on a complete that weighs considerably more ?? |
