Hmm, that's and interesting choice of deck to send. I would’ve thought that one of the later actual “scratched” examples would have been more definitive. Maybe one wasn’t available to you but anyway, what a mess.

Its a deck printed by chicken and was sold with all the scratch deck in that lot andre got. I just wanted the paint tested.

...was there actual talk of a lab test or was it all going to be based on visual examination? Seems like an actual lab test would be the only way to put the nay Sayers to rest.

Good luck finding a lab that would know what to look for.

Age of screen ink and age of clearcoat. I don't know, maybe tests couldn't run as specific as five to ten years of age. Try to ask an insurance company or law enforcement for lab recommendations? Just throwing it out there, we could all paypal ttj to pay for the costs, you know as a way to move on and heal the community.

It's totally freehand, and that's why there are so few of them. Once you drizzle the inks, the very nature of screening will destroy the pattern as soon as you make a print (or 2, possibly). THese would all be at the end of a run, color change, et. al., a point where the screen is going to get pulled off and cleaned.

Are you sure? Look at the Mike Smith, same exact pattern on each one.
