Someone remember those old word lists you could get back then?
I found one in some forgotten folder lately. This could be Skatepool in England but I am not sure...took some screen shots.
Enjoy! Or maybe not!

Wow... Give me a timemachine and a few months wages ahead, and I would buy the whole list |

That will be a short ride in the timemachine...
Expected the list was from at least before 2000 |

I'm thinking Apple or google stocks would be a better investment. Imagine all the grails piled up in those warehouses |

It's a good piece of info to show all the noobs who use the word 'rare' in their listings for certain boards that there are a shit-tonne of out there in the world.
I remember boards no one would touch, because as a kid, it would have been the last deck you would have thought of buying in the shop. Now, it's 'RARE' and 'VINTAGE' and 'IN SHRINK' and starts at $500.
One disappointing thing with Social media and collecting blowing up is the realisation that some boards really aren't as rare as we once thought. It amazes me how quickly these days someone says ' I'm looking for <insert deck here>' and the next week they have it! It's almost like when there are large sums of cash involved, it's on the market - fuck that history shit! |
