I prefer to use an angle grinder, but some people stick with bench top grinders; personal preference really.
Get a coarse blade.
Make sure that you wear eye protection, and possibly long sleeves because the sparks could kick back and burn you. |

big radius ramps cut low (eg 8foot radius cut to 2.5 foot) makes it very east to grind |

depending on what you're skating some grinds are easier than others. I think for most people a 50-50 on a small legde is best place to start. You basically just come at the objecs at a slight angle and do a shifty ollie onto it, keep your knees bent for frontside grinds, and straighten them more for backside. Is that what you're asking? Just make sure and go fast, and keep the grinding surface buttery. |
