I have been trying to do a small run of shirts, and when I try to pull my screen up the shirt sticks to it and ruins the image. Here are the facts.
1. My screen has space above the shirt, it is not touching the screen before the transfer.
2. I am using speedball inks, with a tiny bit of retardent (all of this is their textile stuff)
3. I am using a 230 mech count screen.
Any help u could all give a newbie would be appreciated. I am having a hard enough time building a screen platen for my decks as it is, now shirts are giving me a pain in the ass too. |

Use a spray adhesive (Spray Tack / Hot Tack) on your shirt fixture or you can use double sided tape. This will hold your shirt to the fixture so when you lift the screen up your shirt doesn't stick to the screen. Very common problem.
