If you could ask your customers questions to get a better idea of what they want or need what would you ask?

I want to put together a survey for customers but am coming up blank on some good questions.

I got the standard:

How was service? blah blah blah.

I also came up with:

If you could carry any spare part with you while skating what would it be?

What parts do you seem to replace the most?

You're better off getting that info through conversation. Most people wont fill out a survey (unless there is something free in it for them).

But one good question:

Is there something that you need that I don't carry?

Free stickers are included. Like you said nobody will do it for free.

I am going to give the survey with a receipt and when they bring it back they get free stickers.

Auragreg has the right question. When people will come in, look around, and then leave without buying something there was probably something they were looking for and couldn't find. If you know what that is, it may help you can see a trend. The only problem is, you won't find that info out if your questions are on a receipt since they didn't buy anything. It's best to ask them as they are shopping. Normal customer service stuff.

Spare parts with you while skating...personally I don't carry anything. Once a setup is set, most don't fool with it. I don't know of many that carry spare parts around. Some people may though. Different strokes.

Parts that need replacing the most...broken decks, missing bolts, busted bearings.
