All this being said, your anchor will be fine. Looks to be solidly outlined to keep the colors from fading, and not too detailed or small. It won't last as well as your other stuff, but who fuckin cares! Too many people are too concerned with how their shit gonna look "when they're old".
Another good point. I got my 1st ink when I was 50 How long does it need to last? |

Yep, 80-year old dudes with blurry green arms have the coolest fucking tattoos in the entire world, as far as I'm concerned. |

i'm not really sure that's exactly true. Most tattoo artists I've met have hand tattoos (fingers) and I've seen tons of tattooed knuckles everywhere I've ever lived. I'm not saying that people with no ink won't be turned away, but a buck is a buck. I'd say they probably wouldn't do finger tattoos because they take next to no time and thus they won't get paid much. I could be wrong though.
I'm realistic about my finger tattoo fading over time. This isn't my first bit of ink either. I've been getting tattooed for more than ten years now, though I'm far from covered. |

I think my wording may have been unclear. Yeah, every single tattooer does finger/knuckle work of course, just not on anyone who walks in the door.
Anyway, while we are on the subject, this is some good shit:

yeah I saw that guy on "Marked" last night about LA prison style ink. He had some amazing work, though I'm not a fan of the Ché tattoo, but this ain't the politics section |

that shit IS cool but some of it wont be that clear in 10 years
