anyone know the shelf life of plastisol inks?
i had ordered some white ink from a company, and what they sent me was polyester white. not what i needed.
i got some printin' to do and it's gonna take a bit of ink. so while i wait for the new ink to come in i was wondering:
i have a gallon of opaque glacier white (QCM) that is unopened (seal hasn't been broken) but i'm not sure how old it is. it could be up to 4 years old.
i think this new ink is coming in a day or two, so do i wait or risk using the old ink?
i was totally ahead of schedule for once... |

this is all i can find on that ink in particular...
Quote: Creamy Glacier White has excellent shelf life and, with cool storage, will maintain its creamy consistency. |

plastisols are good forever.
if it looks bad, start mixing.
chunky = bad.
if it goes smooth again use it.
i bought a whole printing setup for a storage unit.
it was in there for 10+ years.
the ink was still good. |
