Left over sliced roast beef or pork loin is good. Even sliced up left over steak. I'll toss in whatever veggies I have on hand like snap peas, mushrooms, brocolli ect.
I don't add all the seasoning since I get mad headaches from MSG so I'll usually add some soya or tamari to help things out and maybe even a bit of chili sauce.
Lately I've been digging a simple miso broth with udon noodles and some veggies tossed in. |

Me and a couple of my friends have been using that for the last 20 or so years. Never thought I'd hear someone else say it.
I've evolved beyond ramen to udon noodles. The best ones are the frozen ones from the Japanese markets. |

I was always just happy with the Chicken Ramen with some added Curry powder.
I don't miss being broke though. |

oriental flavor, and the chili/lime.... I dont understand, if your gonna fancy up ramen, then why eat ramen.... you must have some $$ to buy the extras.... just go down to timmy chans chicken and rice.... let them do the fancy work....
