well im not turning anyone pro yet so the bro models are done up in a ltd. ed. fashion - the bro gets no actual cash but an agree'd upon amount of decks to hang/ride/sell whatever he wants to do with em - we sell em at cost to recover the production
just a fun way to give back to the CT locals who are holdin it down and keeping the scene fun and alive. |

I think if you went to the playground when you were a bit older your thoughts would have been a bit different. I started going to skate the vert ramp after Fred Smiths Skate Hut closed. Freds place besides being in a real shitty ghetto was so laid back. Fred always had pros coming and visiting and the local heros were all great. No attitude what so ever.
So the Hut closes and we need to seek out a new park. Playground wasnt to much of a drive so we start heading down there. Bruna was always the best .....a really nice lady. Tony...I dont know if I ever met him but he was a really nice guy at the cookout last weekend. The ramps great..nice vert ramp and a really killer spine. It reminded me of the Huts old spine before they tore it down to build that huge bowl.
As far as the skaters...98 perecent of them were the biggest douchebags I had ever met in my life.. My overall thought was that it was always very unwelcoming. I had met some really good guys for sure and had some good sessions.
Maybe my views are way off... who knows. The Hut was always so laid back and friendly that Im just making the Playground out to be worse than it was.

| guess it was just 2 different scenes all together. No big deal I had a ton of other stuff to skate at the time |
