It's been tough for me to pick wheels I really like. I'd like to know what everyone is riding, which they like which they wish they didn't shell out their hard earned cash on....
I was riding OG crossbones and still do, really like them.
Also have some Shitfire Blackfartz and like those too, but I'm looking for something a little softer, good all around wheel in the 58-60mm range.
I was going to try some Spitfire Timetrippers, got some info in the "what are you riding" thread.
Just hate spending $30+ then finding out right away that the wheel is not right for you....
bearing talk is also welcome here
Blackhart has the Shitfires
Corporate deck has Lance Mtn 101's (a little hard, but still enjoy the ride on occasion.
OG Crossbones on the pop, have since snapped that deck but am riding the wheels on another setup
I've been buying/using BONES SUPER REDS as my bearing choice.
Lets hear your thoughts |

the spitfire timetrippers are worth it. Soft, but hard enough to break out some slides, skate some rough parking lots, and still hard enough to hit some smooth park surface. I'm on some 53/95's. I got some of the 92's but haven't set them up. I had to scrape the graphic off though asap. It looked like cocks on my wheels, and I can't have that.
Cruiser-wise, I'm rockin' some of Shitbird's softies. 60mm and like 80 soft or some shit. really smooth ride, that's all I know. I can cruise down the street, hit a pothole or two, and not spill a single drop of beer. |

Slim SPF's all day.
Anybody riding the Pig Crushers? They're 92a in varying sizes and seem like an interesting alternative to Spits. |

BDS Black Death. Incomparable speed with fabulous grip characteristics. Wes won't pour anymore so there's litterally a black market for them. A good used set costs more than retail.
Also dig the Abec11 Retro Invertz Park Plus formula as a substitute for Black Death ( I think Chaput is now marketing them as Sublime 61mm).
Find something poured at aend (sp?). Seems to be the best formula IMO. |

If those shitfire blackfartz are still in good shape I'll trade you some new R/R Blackholes and some nos blk SMA Landing Gear .........if you have some wheels you want I'll buy them and trade them for those blackfartz Let me know
I always like the 2nd generation mini rats.....90a, 93a, 95a and 97a's......reds are good but R/R's Ballistech Missiles are way better I hope to be able to try a set of R/R's CERAMIC ROCKETS or NUCLEAR CERAMIC MISSILES I hear they're badass

I've been riding white 60mm/101a Conspiracy Alien Shots on Bones Reds. Pretty good combo.
It's about time for a new set of wheels. I have been looking for something a bit smaller. I hear that all Speed Labs wheels are good & fast. |
