I know that the ramp looks pimped out in a almost female kind a way.. I had to pay extra attention to the final looks of the ramp, and had to make it so it blends in with the surroundings... Otherwise my neighbours would bug the shit outta me... The hedge isn't that tall yet !!
Regarding the clubhouse... It isn't finished yet.. I need to put in a door, make wallpanels and a woodenfloor.. It will be a playhouse for my kids, with a table, chairs and a freezer for icecreams and cold beers !!
As far as the hooka goes- you can smoke outside... As long as you roll up spliffs !!
The coloring is a woodensealer. Otherwise those sheets of regular plywood would die in the danish climate.. The sheeting on the ramp is a kind of plywood made for pouring concrete.. I dont know what similar product you can buy in the states.. It has a layer on top (fenol), which makes it waterproof.. It rides fast as fuck and is pretty slippery for the first 2 weeks... After that it is just perfect... And way cheaper than skatelite !!
Come check it out - you're all invited !!

I've been looking into the ply for making concrete forms ... has to be moisture proof for the concrete pour and super smooth because any texture on the form is transferred to the hardened concrete.
Stuff here seems to be called concrete form ply ... I've found sources for it, but I need to be able to check it out in person before I order a load of it. I'm not sure if anyone sells it in retail places so I'm on a bit of a quest.
I'm willing to buy Skatelite, but it is actually the most expensive material to buy in a 4 x 8 sheet that I have ever encountered. Marine grade mahogany is cheaper than friggin' Skatelite. |

Looks like a resort...sic!
Jamie Durie is a 4ft 2 gnome that started off in life as as a hens night stripper. He is now the DIY king of OZ...or in many eyes queen. Who said there is anything wrong with us? |
