Hey guys, I'm new around this neck of the woods. I've been a member of the Silverfish board building forum for a couple years and somebody somewhere dropped a link to this forum.
DIY, skateboard gurus, and punk rock--I like what I see.
I've been building my own skateboards and longboards for a couple years now, and recently I traded a board for this logo and want to start screening it onto some boards:

Graphics will likely go on the boards after I seal them with either polyurethane, polycrylic, or epoxy.
Now for the question: How cheap can I go on ink and still get good results?
Nazdar 2700 seems to be your guys' favorite choice, and I gather platisol sucks. I'm ambivalent about enamel paint.
I'm wondering if this would be any good for what I'm looking to do:

Should I stop trying to be a cheap ass and just get some Nazdar 2700, or take a hit and buy some stuff that might work well? |

have you ever screen printed anything before?
"plastisol" is for use on shirts and other such garments only.(and needs to be "cured" after applying with an oven)
i can't speak on the other products you mentioned but Nazdar 2700 is pretty much the standard for use on decks and other items(its an "air dry" ink and dries fairly quickly so you need to know what you're doing and not dilly dally around)
my own personal experience with screening decks is limited at best but i do have 15+years of screening shirts...many more knowledgable folks could steer you in the right direction for printing decks. |

I took a class back in high school that had us silk screen some shirts, but nothing other than that.
Most of my decks are longboards without kicktails (just flat vertically with concave), so I think that will make contacting the screen with the board's surface easier on me.
Think I'll call and ask the company and see if they have anything helpful to say about it.
Edit: Has anybody used this stuff with success:
