Are you at all familiar with the Minutemen?
Have you seen Mike Watt in the last few years?
Can't compare..... not even close. Kinda like a WAY watered down Firehose. Sleep inducing if you ask me.
I left in the middle of his first song yesterday.
My friend Janet's band was awesome though. 7 piece with a sax and trumpet rockin' the fuck out. |

He played with the stooges when I saw them at the 9:30 club and it kicked fucking ass!
I was lucky enough to see ron play with them before he died. |

| Saw Watt in Belfast last year, the band closed with a medley of Minutemen tracks and it was fantastic, better then when I saw him around 2005. |
