say what you will, but the Tribute disc stays in my changer (fuck iPods). I got Diary and Blizzard on vinyl for my 12th birthday (1982 if you're counting along at home) from my best friend (R.I.P. Shane) and to me Ozzy's music hasn't rocked anywhere near as hard as when Randy was on guitar... no slight to anyone that's come after him, just my humble opinion.

This is not an opinion, this is a fact

I meant since Randy Rhoads left us. I definitely don't deny Black Sabbath as rocking it out.

I'm sour I missed the Toronto Sabbath show. I wasn't thinking.

But, Ive been in a Sabbath phase for mini-minute, Meglomania is another deep cut classic. Cool song structure, like most Sabbath songs, has a nice change of pace, or in this case, revamping up a sick riff over and over. Such a killer live song. Been listening to that version actually.

My favorite memory of Ozzie was from a private show in LA where, after just playing Crazy Train, Ozzie barks: "This one is called Crazy Train!".

Zack takes two fast long steps over to whisper in his ear.

"We did that one?" muttered Ozzie, away from the mic but close enough for it to pick him up, and he puts the mic to his mouth and barks: "This one's called Bark at The Moon!"

So fucking funny!
