Damn one of my all time fave bands, totally underrated, but they killed, their first 12" was their best, also check out first JERRYS KIDS 12" you wont be dissapointed

the LIFE SENTENCE records pops up on ebay, quite often, and if Im not mistaken the JERRYS KIDS firts record is on a cd as well, check out TAANG website

wow. being from Chicago I find it hard to understand why anybody liked Life Sentence. There were a few bands around that were the warmup band to every band that came through town, but were never good enough to headline. Life Sentence were one of them. SImply put, they weren't very good. They seemed like rich kids from the suburbs playing at it, and this article admits to it. gimme some real Chicago punk rock a la The Effigies, Article of Faith or Naked Raygun. |
