Hey Mike are you interested in the Jackson version? Last time I was over at a local music shop here in SA I think I saw a black jackson for sale. I will ask around to see if anyone has one.

Right on man. From the info I found on these.....the jacksons were made in India and not as well built. Maybe if it was an earlier version when they changed over to the jackson branding and still being made in Japan....I'd be interested. I think they even changed the headstock with the name change. My original one was a charvel and played great. One of many guitars I regretted selling.

I toured the shops a few weeks back and remembered you were looking for one of these... nothing. Not a single one to be had. Weird, cause I remember a couple shops having them in stock. None on Kijiji or craigs either.
