How do the new Rockets compare to the originals?

OK,now for the serious response to your question, the new Rockets rock. as far as a comparison to the Rockets from the past,I can't say. I never was much into reasons why Sk8 decks,wheels,trucks,rails,etc.., didn't go. Figured it was on me why I couldn't seem to rip on any given set up.

One dude tried to come in to my friends Sk8 shop and return a blank deck because he claimed his son said " It has no pop" I LOLZED and told him "YOUR SON CANNOT OLLIE!! THAT'S WHY!"

Jive Ass Turkeys.

But The new Rockets? I'll get 'em again. That's the only thing I can say with any certainty. Hope that helps.

Cheers, Geto. I'm a sucker for wheels, Gonna pick up the whites.

A 1994 Powell longboard with independent trucks, 1/2" risers and a set of blue Rat Bones reissues. The deck is simply awesome, though the graphics are uninspired at best.

I've wanted to skate a deck with this graphic for a while but it was never made in a shape I wanted to skate so I made my own. It's a Prime jazz shape blank that I stenciled the graphics on. It's not perfect, but it works.

ha! i have to agree.

The shape is really fun. I've been switching back and forth between 8.5"ish pops and bigger shaped decks for the last few years. This one is the best of both worlds. We'll see how it holds up to the punishment from my 200+ pound carcass.

Gonz lost Henderson graphic by PP. Shape is really similar to the Blind Skull and Banana - mellow concave, 56mm Powell G-Slides.
