Rumor is brain cancer but nothing official has been said.

On a side note was he a good editor?

No. Nor was he a good representative for the magazine. Dude ,made an ass out of himself everywhere he went. And then there is the time he ripped off the little kid and tossed firecrackers into his clothes (something like that, I recall everyone wanted to give him a beating at the time).

I heard he had a bad case of the flu recently too, so maybe a complication of that?

I have a tough time with all the tributes on insta and facekook. Yea he may have had a lot of skate knowledge, but his douchebag side showed it's face way too often for me to have much respect for him.

Indeed. And he should not have even got the gig. The job should have been Mofo's. Mo is a far better editor than that douchbucket—I know, I worked with him on a few magazines.

Seems like he went quietly at home.

Divisive figure but he seems to have left a strong mark on a lot of people.

Typical for Instagram - 24 hours of eulogies and then radio silence; It's like it never happened.
