Thanks Todd, only one I've ever seen.
Stoked to add it to the collection. |

Can anyone tell me about this?
I acquired this last year. I thought it was an original 80's deck. Now I'm unsure. The original ads for Madrid Explosive decks had only "Madrid" on the bottom graphic. This one reads "Madrid Skateboards", and, the lettering is white, not the same color as the dip. It has oldskool truck hole pattern and measures 29.5" x 10.25". The graphic appears screen applied, and there is no top graphic.
I can see why the lettering would be white, as the dip is black.
Is this original 80's Madrid, or reissue, or counterfeit?
Any facts are greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I messaged Madrid Skateboards yesterday. I had a reply today. They confirmed it's an original 80's deck, from old catalogues. I'm not a hater on reissues, I'm just so stoked on original 80's skateboards. Street skating the neighborhoods back then... what a great time it was. |

That warrior is a tough one to find for sure, I'm still hoping to find one for myself too. |
