I got a little overly ambitious here by attempting a two-color, full bleed print before even mastering a one color print with no bleed. Not a complete failure though. I also started rehabbing decks that were used but still skateable as a way to practice without blowing loads of money on blanks. I donate the rehabbed decks to Be A Boarder which is a local non-profit that introduces youth to skateboarding.
These three had the full bleed graphic. It doesn't look horrible but I wouldn't feel good about selling something like this to anyone.
I came up with a logo for my rehabbed decks project and called it Squad19 reSK8. How clever of me. This is one of the decks that I donated.
The first batch was full-bleed and gave me problems so I reprinted the graphic on a couple more with no bleed. One deck that I rode for a little while and one more that I donated. Better results but I really want this graphic to be full bleed so, I'll be revisiting this one.
My setup. I've ridden it a bit more since this photo but the graphic held up well. I like this color combo. Black and red on natural, I'll be doing more. |

As I view your thread and fall in love with skateboarding. Recently I also build a skateboard that has a great look the same like your deck. Now I want to buy Minority skateboard because they also have great designs and deck styles.
