Probably around the same time that skating became “Skateboarding”

Hate that pompous shit.

First read about 'manual rolls' in a mag with a photo of Ryan Monahan doing a wheelie across the platform of a vert ramp (1988?).

In my book a wheelie is ten toes on the nose. Regular (or goofy) stance back wheels off is a manual.

Give me a proper bent knee nose wheelie and Ima gonna hoot you all day!

Hang ten baby.

Go Saints.

Daffy requires 2 boards. Forward foot on the tail of the forward board with the front lifted and rear foot on the rear board nose with the tail lifted.

She's doing a hang ten nose wheelie—at mach speed! Hawt!

I swear BMXicans started the manual thing, I remember the fight when it started.

A wheelie is lifting the nose with your feet in the normal positions. When done on coping a number of name changes happen.

Originally, a 50/50 was called a monorail.

A Tic Tac is now officially a “ backfoot swivel tail manual back & forth front wheel slider/scraper.”

Those crazy kids.....😆
