Compared to when I was younger I look forward to family gatherings more now than ever. I went to my Mom's, mask and all, to spend part of the day with her since no family thanksgiving gathering this year. Just her and I. She still made a traditional meal for us and man was it delicious. She stuffed my plate so much that initially I didn't think I could eat it all. Well I did eat it all...and afterward I couldn't fit in my stomach a wafer-thin mint if I wanted to. |

Happy Thanksgiving dudes. Super mellow one this year and it was kind of nice. Hope everyone had a good one. |

It was pretty low-key this year, as with the pandemic...
(Hey assholes, I thought it'd "go away after the election"?!? Nope? So you think it's probably an actual problem and not politics?!? Fuck... idiots...).
I found out that I may have had exposure to COVID, so the I ended up skipping seeing my folk's and chilling with my gal (she said if I had been exposted, she'd been exposted to me, so...). We made way too much food, and had a great day together.
As messed up as the world is, I still have a lot to be thankful for. I hope that y'alls had a great thanksgiving. And if you are out of the USA-zone, just be a stuff your face and be greatful that you can do that!
Much love. |
