Are dips more valuable from a collectors standpoint?

Less of them made?

I 100% prefer dips over stains.
Nothing beats a silver sparkle vision dip in my opinion.

I'd totally disagree with you, but than you drop that silver-sparkle-Vision line!

I prefer stains, as I feel it looks better.

Silver Visions, though...

It’s subjective. Dips were more mid 80s stains more late 80s

Given an identical deck in a dip or a stain I reckon the dip would sell for more

dips to collect. stains to skate.

the rails on dips chip up and look all shitty.
stained rails always look the same.

Decks were usually "dipped" because there was some type of imperfection in the wood. Wood filler was commonly used, then the deck was dipped. Nobody is going to know once it's dipped, though.
