Nice. The different size trucks give you a better feel on that size/shape? I've done that with early 90's football set ups,but not this particular era... |

I don't like the look of wheels sticking out past the deck so I've done it on a couple of boards, but honestly this set up only lasted half a session before I changed it. I couldn't get those Ace trucks tight enough for me even with hard bushings. They're made for people who can skate way looser than I can. I kept getting wheel bite even cranked down and everything felt squirrely. I don't know if it was the pivot cups or what, but I was all over the place. I definitely like a shorter axle in the back on my old set up, but I can lock in way better on the new deck the way it is now.
I also added re-issue rat nuts from a German seller on ebay. I can't skate for shit, but at least my boards are rad...
