Not gonna lie, it was a bit uneasy seeing Indy stickers on the back of jacked up pick up trucks in the 2000's, knowing those were the types that would yell "skater fag" a few years earlier. How did that sticker end up there? I'm talking just the round cross, no "built to grind," or any other branding. Tons of Indy merch was on the racks and selling at PacSun (or whatever bullshit store) to a lot of non-skaters. Why? I have no idea, trendy or whatever, who knows?!?
I'm fine with letting it go, what does it really matter? Yes, I still ride Independents. I've tried a bunch of others, and I keep coming back to Independent 159's (with the inverted kingpin baseplates). I don't give a fuck about them moving on from an old logo.
I had a real problem with Independent running a "Made in the USA" campaign just before moving production overseas. Now, all trucks seem to be made overseas. Whatever...
So as Rollins said: "Yeah, I ride 'em."

Tracker are still USA, if they're still made...
