@ Prime wood: what's your minimum? What kind of board construction are you using? What kind of printing method are u using? What's the set up fee? ... the usual.
A lot of munufacurer in the USA are now making board of less quality to be on the same level as the Chinese factory. The prices are low like they are in chiuna, and the quality is low as with china decks.
Only a hand full of companies actualy keep up the quality and they have a minimum order (that is a lot).

nothing has changed.
same wood, north american hard rock maple. most coming from the great lakes area
stiff glue - 7 plys in the same concaves that Rocco and Mullen worked on over the last 15 years.
mix and match shapes...
we do use heat transfers, which i know is not always the first pick. but i can point you in the right area for screening...
the pricing has always been fair. i too would question a deck made in the US that is sold for $10...
