I'm officially calling off my personal boycott of Hardee's/Carl's Jr. The black and white testimonial ads have been gone for a while now and have been replaced with high quality marketing (that chick on the mechanical bull, for example), but the coup de grace is their latest breakfast menu killing machine.
I went to check out the Monster Thickburger (first time I had eaten at a Hardee's in about 4 years), and it was pretty damn good, but I can't fucking wait for this thing.

Hardee's has the best biscuits in the business...
It's like they take a cake of butter, roll it in flour and then bake it golden brown..
Brilliant. |

There biscuits are made from scratch. The scratch is actually shit from your ass crack that makes you itch, there by making you "scratch". It really turns off alot of people when they find out. |

Dude, I didn't know they were affiliated. Carl's Jr. rules, but it's nothing like Hardees, unless they've changed.
But I must ad, CJ's commercials absolutely suck, I mean, besides the chick on the mechanical bull. I don't know who does their marketing, but I want to give a beating to the guy with the "too cool for school" voice, and Jim Rome, who did a few commercials for them. Have you seen the Mark McGuire one, where he's eating like a fairy? Dude, eat the whole pickle all-at-once, and put some sleeves on that shirt to cover your doughy, pale arms.
The Six-Dollar Burger is excellent as well as the Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Combine them for the Western Bacon Six-Dollar Burger, and you can't go wrong, well, at least until you go in for a blood scan. |
