Yeah, I been wantin' to get that book. Ive got the first one "the art of rock" Its a great book as well. Half the posters in it are ripoffs of some sort, or collague of other art work stolen and put to new and improved use. |

check out the Art of Modern Rock. there's a nice history, but it's more accurately a snapshot of whats going on in the poster/art world right now. it's an amazing and beautiful book. and huge too. i'm proud to say i have 6 or 7 posters in there.

Do you know if this is at any bookstores or is online the only way to get it?
Great stuff by the way. |

amazon.com has it the cheapest.
it should be in all the major stores. borders, etc.
we (the chicago scene fellas) did a book signing at the virgin mega store for it the other week.
pretty surreal. i dont belong among those guys.

after feb - it goes up to 75 bucks in the stores - so amazon is a rediculously good deal at 37.80.
its worth every penny and way more.
theres also a source book for up and coming artist/designers that frank kozik is putting out. he picked a hundred artists and said we could do whatever we wanted (except for kiddy porn and swastikas). its gonna be insane. it comes with a limited edition toy that frank designed too. the graphic for the white deck with the women in the hair that i posted elsewhere is actually what i submitted as my piece. gonna be a great book - ive seen alot of the other artists stuff. crazy good.
worth checking out.
