ya I mentioned SPOA in the earlier post... the skaters had to raise the dough

The city were being dicks.

EDIT oh wait that is for the Piedmont park park ... ya that's gonna be way too small to accomidate Atlanta

In almost every skatepark we have had to raise the funding for ourselves - that is not unusual.

It is my understanding that ATL is looking to build a system of skateparks. Luther Lotz is the guy to talk to with the Atlanta project.
