DubCons ain't that big
with 1/2 inch and randals you could probably run 75mm wheels and never--ever get wheel bite... try 1/8 and see what happens.. shouldn't bite at all and it'll ride better
Those dubcons are 64mm...you really think 1/8 is enough riser with the randalls?

pshaw 64mm ain't big!!
I think Randals are made to accomodate 65mm with no riser and no bite,
but the dubs are really wide..definitely gonna hang out some .. and that can promote a bite... hmmm.. I would buy a couple sets of 1/8 and a set of 1/4 .. start with 1/8 and that may be fine.. step up fom there.. seriously, randals with 1/2 inch is gonna be ridiculously tall

I got one of these decks on order, and I have got a good deal on some Indy 215s, and intend to put some Alva Ditch wheels on it (ride not show!).

Anyone think I mighta gone a bit wide with the trucks? Just curious...

For that deck I'd use 166's or 169's..

Outt..
Jeff.

@bondi boy,
215s might be a tad wide... unless that's how you like it

Thanks for the tip fellers - I'm hoping with the relatively modern skinny type wheels the trucks wont be too wide...or I'll have aquired some bargaining tools for down the track.
