what Gibson and what board? Tex, John, fullsize, mini? What?
IMHO the BEST board that Alva put out mid/late 80s was the Tex Gibson Cow Skull Hammerhead. If you can get yourself a black to yellow to natural fade in that board GET IT. That color combination is the BEST for that board. The board looks like burnt wood. Very reflextive of the Southwestern style graphics. I have one and although not worth much on the market, it would probably be one of the last boards to leave my collection.
I really have to say it is my favorite board in my collection and I've got some really hot boards so that's saying alot. |

these boards are at the online oldschool websites:
http://www.oldschoolskates.com have John Gibson
http://www.oldschoolskateboards.net
has BOTH Craig Johnson and John Gibson decks~
I've used oldschoolskates.com before~ they're all good! Nothing but rave reviews from all I've talked to about Ozzie who does the orders for them. I picked up a Gibson Natural Full Size TEX Skull and I think it's the coolest color~ Set it up woth some Bullet 63 92a's in black and some Original Oldschool Indy 169 Black Anodized trucks~ By far my favorite set up ever!~ It's just so sick and responsive~ with a smooth comfy ride~ Pick up two one to hang one to ride~ before the price jumps when these are gone!~ A Red one would be sweet too~
Let us know what you score!~
