Looks pretty simple, start by removing the old bindings and skeg and decide how long you want to make it. Now are you going to want to use the natural kick already in it. If so that makes the job even easier. If you plan on shorteneing the the old ski, do you have a bandsaw or scroll saw. Sure will make the job far easier, plus a good sander will smooth the cut out. Then refinish the rough edges and get out your trucks and decide where you plan on mounting them. Should be pretty easy after all that. And happy cruising. |

thank you all for posting
@jimK i don't want to resize it,my main problem is that metal rear part
under the tail that is totaly useless for a skateboard but wich will give it a very original style
sorry about my poor english, don't really know how to explain
@slob-air are you jealous or somethin?
@theshralpster some friends told me the same but i'm a skateboarder in soul,i think it's a good opportunity to make livin again an old piece of wood.
i'll never have a boat to make some waterski, and i'll never get a villa nearbye a lake or sea to put it on the wall.i can understand some people will be crazy about it and that could be like setting an old Sims BB deck to make a skimboard or a snowskate.
got to check what it worth afterall,if it's a big value i may buy a cool board with that money.
Reflex is a living company,i'll try to reach them. |

It shouldn`t hurt at all removing the old tail skeg for style, you could leave
it on and use it for a nose wheelie grinder. that is if its short enough, otherwise you`ll have to grind it down anyway. |

Just be carefull not to fall on it if you mount it on top, that could be a real
pain if you do. |

You might want to ask a few questions on Silverfishlongboarding.com -- they have a pretty knowledgeable builder's forum.
I waterskied for many years when I was younger, and I can tell you that ski is a serious classic and collector's item -- skiers would love to take it off your hands for a few hundred dollars.
Here's a truck hole template that'll help you get it marked correctly for drilling.
