| I'm gonna do a little research into this soon. It's kinda an old town and I have found some really weird ordinances when looking up the rules regarding the skateboarding ban .... like it is against the law in the town here to be a fortune teller! |

Remember the movie Footloose where it was illegal to dance in town? Thats not far off from reality. There were lots of towns around my hometown that were like that.
If you live in a small old town that hasnt moved itself into the 10th century yet, there may be some stupid laws on books regarding pornography.
I see you already have some interesting laws in Michigan. |

oh yeah .. I can't wait to see if this kid ever comes back. He'll get a hazing from me.

I never saw that site with the stupid laws .. but did hear alot about the swearing one. That was just in the last 5 years I believe. This dude tipped his canoe and started swearing in from of kids/women and got thrown in jail. It was a huge deal. |

| I would definately pull the permission slip shit on him. He would need a permission slip to buy a 1" bolt in my shop after that. |

The dude was nude?!?! You're right - I never heard that.
I just did some searching on municode.com ... seems I am cool with everything that was done.
But this is too funny:
Sec. 11-5. Fortunetelling.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person within the township to pretend for money or gain, to tell fortunes, or to predict future events by cards, tokens, trances, the inspection of the hands or the conformation of the skull of any person, by mindreading, or by consulting the movements of the heavenly bodies or by other means.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person within the township to pretend by or through means of palmistry, phrenology, clairvoyancy, astrology or fortunetelling by cards or other devices for money or gain, to enable anyone to get or recover lost or stolen property, or to give success in business, enterprise, speculation or games of chance, or to make one person dispose of property, business or valuable thing in favor of another.
(c) It shall be unlawful for any person within the township to publish by card, circular, sign, newspaper or any other means whatsoever, that he shall or will predict future events, and any person whose fortune may have been told, as aforesaid, shall be a competent witness against all persons charged with any violation of the preceding subsections.
and this one is great too:
Sec. 11-65. Annoying conduct.
It shall be unlawful for any person to insult, accost, molest or otherwise annoy, either by word of mouth, sign or motion any person in any public place.
