Kinda funny. My son calls me at work and asks if we can go out and skate later on. Sidenote: He and his older brother are 110% into soccer these days.
I was stoked and after work we hit the park in Frankfurt for a nice uncrowded session. As some of you know, I am mainly a Freestyle skater, but every once in a while I am getting back to skate a mini ramp as well. Enjoy the young gun as well as some strange stuff from myself.
Btw, there is a 360 invert varial in there, but the quality of the clip shows it only in a blurred slomo...AND: A YOYO-Plant to tail to drop in...

Right on, I know how that feels. I came in from cutting the grass last night and my daughter was out on our mini-ramp putting on her pads and she said to me "Come on dad, let's skate." Nine times out of ten, I am the one initiating our skate sessions, so it took me by surprise. We skated for an hour and a half and had a blast, just the two of us. |

HECK YEAH!
Finally I see a mini-ramp run that looks completely different than everything else I've been seenig lately. Very inspiring.
You rule at handplants! Gotta get those up on the coping man! They will look sweet.
I hope my kids skate. |

Well, back in the day I used to skate big ramps, but as they were all torn down, stopped riding them completely. I am slowly getting back into tranny skating....but now I 'have' to practice more Freestyle skating for the upcoming World Champs in Brazil.
Here is a nice contorted invert...even scored me a $50 foto incentive from Speed Wheels as I used it in an ad.

Well ... it may sound corny - but your video inspired me to land my first invert in over 12 years on a 5' mini last night! Everyone was cheering me on. I was so stoked.
Some kids have never seen one before! A kid skates up to me and says "How do you do those things where you put your hand on the ramp?"
I laughed on the inside. |

Hnadplants are not that easy to coordinate and you have to be flexible to bend down.....something unknown to most youngsters.
I will never learn ollie kickflips! |
