| ...so what did everyone think? Overall I liked the movie (First Descent) but the editing didn't seem to flow right, maybe it was the lack of music, or maybe it was the theatre's sound system. My daughter liked it to - especially Travis Rice (?) avi ride, that was insane! Maybe my expectations were too high but it didn't seem to add up to DT documentary, Riding Giants, and the bulk of other snow flicks out there. I guess as an "insider" I was looking for more and the appeal of the film had to be more mainstream. I don't know what it is but I left the movie slightly satisfied. |

well snowboarding is gayer too, so it is hard to make a decent movie about it. if you don't stop around the mid 90's when it got really bad, the movie will suck. although nick perata and Farmer are bad ass.
im' with jay, when are we gonna hit vermont for a little snowbrucing? |
