I got a call from my city councilman last night and he said for me to get with Parks and Rec and pick out a location! He didn't know how much would be budgeted, but said to begin the process. We live in a small town, but they just dropped big money to build (3) really nice new baseball fields/sports complex. I'm hoping I can swing about $100K so I can get concrete. I'm sure I'll be putting on my suit and doing some powerpoint presentations over the next few months.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Chris |

Get ready to do some fundraising.
$100K doesn't go very far at all when it comes to a good park.
It took me 3 or 4 years to raise $250K for our park. |
