What am I doing wrong, i get the ink overlaping the sides of the screen and making a squint line on the edges.
I think it might be that the mesh isent tight enough, am I just making excuses for myself?

Hot or not, the poor mans photo hosting. I got pretty desperate and my web host has been down for about a week, useless.

Try setting your offcontact a little lower.
it also looks like you are using your squeege wrong.
Go to screen web and have a look around for that info, they have all sorts of articles and posts that would awnser your questions.
this forum is ment to be discussing skate board printing. It seems to be filled with 90% stupid questions that people could have found out themselves if they tryed at all.
forums are a great resource but the people who ask questions that they could have found out easily enough elswhere bore the fuck out of those trying to help .There is a book you can buy in the US called how to print T-shirts for fun and profit. at a guess the cost of purchasing that would come back to you many times over as screen supplies, time and fuck ups all cost money.
As for your print stoke. go buy a bag of rags some spray adhesive and start practicing. try flooding the screen first then doing your print stroke. |
