I'm a bit fan of the comet spoon concave, which the Voodoo has. I've ridden one that Chris "gorillabiscuits" Doan used to have, and I own the 40" spoon kicktail. The rockered angle of the front truck is similar, though less severe, than many of the wedge-nose speed boards. It seems to stabilize the turning a bit. So I'm thinking that by combining that with Crails you would get a very nice feeling board from moderate speeds of maybe 30 -35 mph. Not great for higher speeds, but I'm not into higher speeds so it doesn't matter a lot. |

I had a Comet Voodoo a few years back. Ran it with Tracker 184's, Bones Hardcore yellows and Gravity 76mm Fu Manchu softies.
Worked great with conventional trucks. Kinda wish I still had it. |
