i just got this this in the mail. the main graphics are still there since rails were on there, but the board in general seems like it was sitting wet somewhere.. the paint all over is cracked and would flake off if you rub your nail over it.. which i did on the white area. would you guys recommend leaving it alone? is there something i could use to seal it up to prevent from coming off? I stripped everything off it and will probably just leave the art alone. maybe scan it in a few pieces and re- create the art on another board.. like a tribute or something.

I have a Zorlac Metallica that's graphics would be mint except for the fact that they are cracked everywhere. The only Idea I have for mine is to sand down the areas that have no graphics (solid color base coat) on them and re-paint those areas, then I would just clear coat the entire board to keep the graphics from flaking away.

Sweet deck!

Lose the rails though--they just look goofy on it, kind of like the mix 'n match wheels.

I don't have any great ideas about how to preserve the paint, I imagine that clear coat might help, but I've never used the stuff, so I don't know for sure. Just be gentle with it.

yeah most of the parts are long gone to the trash. i did throw the rails in the box of plastics. dont know what to think of the wheels. 2 red powell street bones. then the 1 orange/ 1 green looks like the speedwheels screaming hand and might say "new era wheels". the baseplates on the trucks both broke, axels in both hangers slide out. the cracked graphics was definately the gem of the deal.

thanx for the reply's. i'll let ya know how it goes.
