The standard Long pig flexes way too much under my 240 lbs.

So I added 2 layers of the heaviest Carbon fiber I could find to the top.

Left a little window to enjoy the beauty. ( BDS in yellow grip )

Set her up with Dubzilla's, Ron's, and Tracker Fastracks.

I love this board!
The carbon has reduced the flex to almost none, with minimal weight gain.
I'm probably going to change the bushings, but that's about it.
This is my first experience with Carbon fiber, and vacuum bagging, and I like it.
Excuse me now, there's a hill out there with my name on it...

Nice. Those boards are way too much fun. Whats the cost of doing something like that and would it have the same effect if applied to the bottom? I think it would look good with the wheel wells cut out.

I spent about $100 U.S. on materials, but have enough fabric left to do another board, and enough Epoxy for another 6 boards.
Camera batteries were dead, but I definately will take pics next time.
Which will be soon.

Woah thats more than I want to spend. Luckily i'm a bit lighter and can deal with the flex. It would be nicer if it were stiffer though. Good idea. I'd like to see some more pics as well if you do this again.

ollie you could probably just use fiberglass and be fine with it at your weight. 240 required the cf pretty much judging by that board. It is flexy as hell.

The carbon looks cooler. I don't really need to. If I weighed any more I would consider it.
