Grimey, Seth, Shitbird, Gusto etc...
Do you know any guys with a good rep in London UK?

Im wanting to get my first tat but I know the image I want (simple Hendrix head shot that ive messed around with till its all black/white with no shade) Is that something thats frowned upon by 'good' tatoo artists? as in taking away their own artistic freedom?

The one I want is gonna be pretty small - ie 60mm dia at most - will anyone decent work this kind of deal?

Thanks guys.

So - whats the deal with me walking in with a photocopy of exactly what I want? Is that a bad thing?

just go along with your pic and talk to the staff on the desk, yeah, some of the tattooists will much prefer to do their own work, but if its a workable design (they will tell you straight up if its not) they'll be cool with it.
there are 7 ppl tattooing in the shop, all with different favourite personal styles, the shop will recommend who is right for your work.

saturdays are "walk in" days when they do smaller stuff without an appointment, its busy tho, so go early if you want it done that day, otherwise make go in and make an appointment (you'll have to give a deposit)

i'm in this saturday at 6pm, so if you want to laugh a s&b member bleeding, come along then.

i'm just getting my trailer trash pin up gal finished, (upper arm) just a tiny bit of colour left to do, then i'm going out drinking with the girl that tattoos me.

good luck with getting what you want done.

good places in London:

Charlie Shaze at Metalmorphosis does a lot of my stuff
the guys and girls at Tusk and Into You are also excellent.

Bugs has a style that a lot of people like. i'm
not into it personally but he's good if you like
that kind of stuff.
