yeah hopefully it comes together - th eguy spearheading the idea has kids that skate - they are young but the father has enough foresite to realize that prefab stinks and there are no spots in town for kids to ride - we'll see what happens

Jeff's latest park is in Dayville Ct just west of Rt395 on Rt101

...Something I have seen in many locations, Prefab parks are only skated because there is nothing else (Newport RI, Naragansett), well designed concrete parks attract people (Jamestown, WhiteRock, Groton). A good park is as much a tourist draw as a good restaurant.

related news....Jeff was in the new 7ply recently talking about building a park in Voluntown this summer

how far up 101? i may have to check it out this weekend.

You guys going to Bristol or Stamford anytime soon give a shout. I'm good for mellow runs and taking pics. When is the Groton spring sizzla?

checked out the park in dayville today. nice little park but i wasnt even there 5 min before a bunch of kids on bikes and razor scooters showed up. but luckily i brought my daughter so we just played at the playground instead. tough being 36 and trying to get back into skating more often.
