Nice ramp! Setting up the foundation to be strong and sturdy was the best thing to do and than everything else falls into place.

Have fun

Thanks lee,
I am yet to have any kids jump the fence, and skate it.
With renovations going on for the past 6 months, there is always a builder here to scare them off.

Taras - did you have plans for this ramp or just make to suit the space? going to be the first thing i do when we get a larger property in the next few months! mini ramps and the drains are the only things i dig skating these days with a fucked back i know ive got a little more control!

Lee,
I did fit the ramp into the space.
Did not use plans, I just built a flooring frame (Posts concreted 600mm down, with hardwood bearers). I used 7ft transitions and 10ft of flat to get my length.
If you build on on a frame you can take the ramp off and put a deck onto it.
I put the ramp where it is as I have a river at the back of my house and for re-sale value a deck will be more appealing than a ramp if I ever sell

Cheers
Taras
