First paint it white, then make a stencil and roll on some blue tile.

If I had a ramp, I would (if I didn't have tile or pool coping) use this rat tape. I saw it for sale at skateone's website.

How to make the Faux-real thing: use 5"- 6" Strips of skatelite sraps.paint it a light color.plot out a tile pattern with a chalk line and speed-square .set the skillsaw, tablesaw,or router to < 1/8" depth, and carve in the grout lines. I personally have done it with my wormdrive ,a rip-guide (index finger tip wrapped with duct tape)for horizontal cuts, and speed-square for vetical cuts (use the edge as a fence guide).
-It makes that awesome sound when carving on it, that's why.

Conspiracy Skateboards used to sell tile stickers... I don't think they have them anymore, one of their reps gave me some with a wheel purchase.

if you really wanna get faux-pool steez, add an inch(or less) to the height of the faux tile strip. bump yer metal cope up an inch(or less), with ripped chunks of 2by scraps. if you got skatelite on yer decks, you can cut some beveled rips of 2x material and resheet behind the coping and curve the skatelite up those beveled strips to create the contour of real pool coping.I've tried it at a few projects and it worked . no need for that pre-fabbed maloof ramp metal pool coping. seen it? I invented it.lol...
