I live in Denver, CO & I was in BC Surf & Sport today. They have last year's 55 still. It was the Park Meadows location that had it.

everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but they are still rider owned & contribute more to the sport financially than any other brand.
Some of their boards are mass produced pieces of crap in China just like most other companies. But their higher end boards ($500 & up I believe...but may be wrong on price minimum) are handmade in Burlington, VT.
I've ridden a lot of brands & models...but in my book The big B makes the best hardgoods (boards, boots, bindings) on the market. |

The only boards still made @ the factory in burlington are the series 13 boards. (high end boards w/ custom graphics $1k +).
The Fish shape is nice, and fun in POW, burton boots feel packed out to me after a few days of riding em.....their clothing line is way to brightly colored for my taste (and cheaply made!), but they have a great warranty program.
nuff shops here might still have those boards laying around, if i see em' i will get ya the info.....J. |

havnt put any time on a burton since like 1997 but man they was fuggin junk back then and before then. add that to the time when there sent cease and desists out to all other sonwboard makers claiming they invented and owned the rights to "the snowboard" there for demanding all other manufactures stop production. |

AFAIK, the high end boards are still made in VT. T6, Vapor, etc.
They make good product and know what they're doing. Their bindings are way better than anyone else's. |
