I think you made the right decision. I went 6 feet with the flat on mine, it's a little quick. I think the longer flat might make up setting up the next trick a little easier, especially given the width.

so while I was gone for two weeks, my father-in-law went a little crazy with the railings He used to build fences and decks in Florida.
