An Australia in Hawaii - what to do, where to skate?

Hey guys I am heading to Hawaii with the lilttle lady for New years and wanted to do a bit of sightseeing have a skate of a few mini ramps and down a few local beverages can someone please help and point me in the right direction. cheers ppmurf Australia

my homeboy, mike broms, lives on the north shore. He just sent me photo's of a mini ramp they built in halawia park. They also have small cement parks around. 3 or 4 of them. Do a search on skating in hawaii and you can locate more info as far as directions and cost etc.

what island are you going to?

http://www.50-50.com is definitly the best site to check out. There are 4 or 5 cement parks and a new mini at Haleiwa, but the Hickam Hanger is the shit!!! You will need someone in the military to sponser you on to the base tho. The cement parks are not great, the one in Hawaii Kai is best, then probably Mililani in my opinion.

Again just my opinion, but you can skate second rate parks here, or surf world class breaks. What ya gonna do?
