This may have been asked before, but I didn't find anything in the search....

I was wondering if there is a standard way to tell if a board is definately NOS or a re-issue. Is there a list of boards that have been re-issued? Any help?

It's probably easier to just ask about whatever board(s) you're wondering about, as the list of reissued boards would be pretty exhausting to compose. Some of them are easy to spot, and others have pretty minute distinctions.

If it looks like s, smells like s, tastes like s, it is a reissue.

Well it's an Alva John Thomas. It looks old, in good shape. Let me see if I can find a pic of the graphic...

Ok, it's the JT Karate Kick.

Like I said, it looks like it was hung up for a while. Are these worth much?

To my knowledge, there are no JT re-issues. (Or mid 80's Alva's for that matter).
I'd say $100-$120 would be about right. There's quite a few of 'em out there......
