sat through 6 hours of pain last night and I still have a ton more to go. Lot's of ink in this...no skin will be showing when the whole thing is complete. It's a dedication tattoo to my grandfather who flew B-17's in WW2, and the flowers are because he had a farm where he grew sunflowers. The sunflowers also happen to be the ones my wife and I used at our wedding, which she recently got a tattoo of.

Cool!
I like how the propellers are slicing thrue the air.
The sunflowers will give a nice depth to it...
Good luck with stage 2.

Looks cool but this area is the absolute least of the pain you will be feeling on a full sleeve tat. Hardly any skin showing on either of my arms and I can tell you you've got way worse to look forward too |

the B-17 a.k.a The Flying Fortress
my grandfather flew them as well in WWII
some of my favorite memories of my grandpa were at air shows or visiting the Air Museum @ Castle AFB
that is a super rad tattoo and a great dedication
I miss my grandpa today

gonna be tough to do in the longrun, since i live in Miami. Obviously for the time being I'm staying inside and keeing it covered. I do have some kids spf 50 lotion for after it's fully healed so I can do my thing in the sun. I wish there was 100% block available (other than wearing a bunch of clothes.) |
